The Carp Pond

The Carp pond is now 25 years old and has matured into a stunning lake. It's about 1.5 acres in size. The depth ranges from 2' to about 9' at its deepest point. 

The Carp pond has just undergone a major renovation.  Originally constructed in 1993 the lake has matured beautifully. However, over the years the shallows had become overgrown, the banks had eroded and the platforms had disintegrated.

The recent work has rectified all this and it now boasts 3 very spacious large pegs, 2 double pegs and a single peg linked by a gravel path which are lower to water with each one giving something different. These pegs are designed to fit a bivvy directly onto the gravel area, each offering a dry and muck free space for you and your equipment! We have pods on pegs 1 & 2 and offer the whole lake with pods and 4 fishing for £110

The past few years has seen the Carp Lake transition from a coarse lake to Specimen runs water. Every other year we net the lakes removing as many silver fish as possible and any small carp that have bread and re stock with large doubles and 20lb+ fish  

​

The Carp pond is now gated and requires a key code. The key code is STRICTLY only given to anglers upon paying and booking in, so all anglers can enjoy peace and quiet.
