The Spring pond has recently changed use from a trout lake to a coarse fishing Lake. Through the winter it was stocked with Perch, Bream, Roach, Rudd and Carp
Set in stunning surroundings this pond has really matured over the past 15 years or so and has developed into possibly our most picturesque pond. The shallow water is about 3ft and the deeper end is dropping of to around 13/14ft.
There are 15 spacious swims with 3 of these being designated for the logpods

TIPS FROM THE COACH:
Much like our other lakes the 'method' to use on the spring lake is corn and pellet.
Fish 6 meters out, feed pellet and use corn as your hookbait
Mathew O'Neil recently fished the spring lake to great effect when he landed 115lb in just under 3hrs. He fished the pole with pellet and corn
