Episode 4 - 28/29th November!!!!!

On Monday the 10th July we welcomed some celebrities from the fishing world to record an episode of FISHING GURUS that will be aired at the end of August on SKY SPORTS.

Steve Ringer and Adam Rooney fished the Bridge Pond to demonstrate the method feeder and the pellet waggler. Dean Macey presented the programme and Ali Hamidi (korda) organised the day and also fished in between filming.

Steve Ringer started of fishing the method to the tip of the 1st Island and immediately went about putting his rod to the test. He was catching at a fish a chuck and landed mirror's and commons to 7lb. He then changed to fish the method feeder down the edge and dropped in inches from the next pontoon. Feeding occasional pellet over the top he soon started picking up big lumps and landed his best of the day an 11lb Mirror. In total he landed well in excess of 200lb

Adam Rooney fished the pellet waggler and fished tight to the tip of the 2nd Island. Adam caught at a faster rate than Steve and was putting Crucians, barbel and Carp in his net. After a frantic few hours on the waggler, Adam also changed his approach and fished down the edge with his pellet waggler and also landed some big fish to 9lb. Adam landed easily in access of 220lb.

The Lodge Lake (old trout lake) will undergo some major renovations this winter, which along with some serious fish being stocked will enhance its reputation as a serious specimen lake - Open all winter

"This year we enter our 18th in business and its going to be a very exciting time. New fish being stocked will seriously enhance the specimen side of the fishery with the Lodge Lake and Spring lake welcoming some 'BIG' fish.

The match lake & willow pond will also be home to new fish and the Horseshoe will also be restocked once we've carried out some work on it. We will also be buying a new pod as well transforming the lodge into a new large tackle shop.

This year will also see for the 1st time the introduction of our new membership card.

So busy but very exciting times ahead and we hope to see you fishing with us in 2012 - Tight Lines"
